Earlier this week, former Pussycat Dolls, singer Kimberly Wyatt, 37, and husband Max revealed he will have a vasectomy – and she had been sterilised – after welcoming their third child to the world.
Hubby Max, also 37, said: “We’re not taking any chances.
“I’m sure we’re going to be together forever but if we did split for whatever reason then Kim couldn’t have kids with somebody else, so I shouldn’t be able to either.”
Cleaner Bridgette Dermott, 41, also agrees with Kimberley’s way of thinking – and she’s take it one step further.
While she hasn’t had her tubes tied, mum-of-four Bridgette made her partner Richard, 41, a retail manager have the snip 18 months ago after also having three kids together.
She explains: “It might sound daft but if we were ever to split up then I don’t want him having kids with anyone else.”
“If we did split and he met someone I don’t fancy the prospect of my kids having to get to know another brother or sister either.
“It might sound harsh but it would also mean he’d had next to no left cash left over in maintenance for us too.
The couple have been together for 14 years.
