Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Southwest zone say the presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, must get a massive vote in the zone.
They maintained that the former Lagos State governor is the most experienced of those jostling to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
National Vice Chairman of the APC (Southwest), Mr. Isaacs Kekemeke, dropped the hint while addressing the media after a closed-door meeting of the APC zonal executives yesterday at the party’s Secretariat in Lagos.
Kekemeke said: “It is incumbent on us not just to deliver but to deliver very impressively. This gives us the responsibility to work very hard. We have had a long strategy session.
“We have resolved to deliver to the party in the South-West, a new campaign and mobilization strategy, new talking points, and new ways of addressing, communicating, and interfacing with our women and youths.
“We are going to explain to them the need for every resident, citizen,n and registered voter in the South-West to do the needful by ensuring that our votes are overwhelmingly delivered to our father and our leader in the South-West, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“The zone must vote for Asiwaju because he is the best and most experienced among those in the race. He is very competent and qualified with a pedigree of many firsts that we can feel and touch.”
