Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in the Southeast region have reiterated its commitment to a peaceful coexistence with its host.
The association’s Chairman in the region, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki stated that its members remain committed to delivering on their promise of peace and unity.
Siddiki spoke on Thursday in Awka, the Anambra State capital as part of his message to Igbo, during this year’s edition of Eid-el-Maulud (the birth of Prophet Mohammed).
He assured that his leadership will ensure Miyetti Allah in the southeast will continue to promote peace among the herders and their host communities.
“We remain fully committed to delivering on our promise of peace and unity in this area of Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo states.”
