Senate President Ahmad Lawan has said that if Nigeria will commit to working together with harmony and patriotic zeal in various capacities in different spheres, they can achieve great things.
In an event in Adamawa state, Lawan said “Nigeria belongs to us all and we have to make it work by ensuring that we live in peace and harmony irrespective of our differences.”
The event was the closing day of a four-day medical outreach held at the Jada local government area of the state.
Represented by Senator Amos Bulus from Gombe State, the Senate President said Senator Binos Yaroe, who represents Adamawa’s southern senatorial zone and sponsored the outreach, is an example of a leader contributing consistently to the overall good of Nigeria.
“Senator Yaroe’s commitment to sponsoring this program underscores the importance of sustainability not only in public sector activities but in public-spirited exercises,” Lawan said.
