Seventeen governors of the Southern States will converge in Enugu State on Thursday.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will be hosting his colleagues for the third of such interactions among 17 southern governors.
They (governors) had their first meeting in Asaba, Delta State, where they took far-reaching decisions on issues of national and regional importance, including state police, open grazing and zoning of president.
The governors also appointed Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as their coordinator.
At their second parley at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, the governors restated their position on the Asaba resolution and agreed to enact bills on Anti-Open Grazing on or before September 1.
As at yesterday when Ugwuanyi assented to the bill, almost all the states in the South had signed the bills into law.
