A stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State, chaired by the Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, has shown support to the party flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The faction resolved to sustain its winning tempo to ensure Tinubu wins next year’s presidential election.
It also determined to dislodge the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) maladministration in the state for its governorship candidate, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, to be in Government House, Sokoto.
It stressed that the party will not allow the shock of the 2019 elections to repeat itself and that the APC will reclaim its mandate in the state.
Amid slogans such as “Sai Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the stakeholders said its presidential candidate remains the most credible and popular choice in Sokoto State.
Dingyadi, who was overwhelmed by the party’s confidence and political spirit said all hands must be on deck to evolve winning strategies that would legitimately make the party victorious at the polls.
