The Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Creative Officer of X3M Ideas, Mr. Steve Babaeko, has described Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as a leader whose educational policy resonates with global trends.
Speaking in Lagos at the inauguration of X3M Tech, an initiative to equip Nigerians with cutting-edge skills, Babaeko said his agency focused the initiative on tech because the governor and Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila provided the structure.
X3M Tech, an empowerment for young minds with the tools and knowledge to thrive in the digital landscape, was established at Muritala Ajadi Animashaun Community Senior Grammar School in Surulere, Lagos.
The project, Babaeko noted, was to further his firm’s corporate social responsibility and in commitment to the gesture it has maintained over 12 years.
The agency said 60 pupils would benefit from the scheme, of which it said 10 best in this year’s training will get laptops equipped with software and programmes to facilitate their learning and skill development.
Addressing pupils, teachers and stakeholders, Babaeko described the initiative as a milestone in the commitment and dedication to empowering youths.
“This project holds a special place in our hearts, as it continues our tradition of educational intervention, which we have undertaken with the government for 12 years,” he said.
