A ticket inspector bravely took on two racist passengers who attacked him after he told them to take their feet off the seats.
Shocking footage shows the unarmed official squaring up to the thugs on a Docklands Light Rail service to Tower Gateway yesterday afternoon.
Onlooker, Marian Hassan, filmed the clip and claimed the brawl started when a the inspector pushed a passenger’s feet off the seat – before being racially abused.
The clip shows the pair grabbing each other by the neck before aiming a series of kicks and punches as other passengers try to intervene.
The altercation is believed to have taken place between Poplar and Shadwell stations.
A TfL spokesperson said, “We are aware of this incident and are supporting the British Transport Police with their investigation.
“We are providing support for the staff member involved.”
