The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted its National Executive Council (NEC) scheduled for tomorrow again.
The decision was taken in an enlarged meeting on Tuesday evening by the party’s Governors’ Forum, a statement by chairman of the body Bala Mohammed informed.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Board of Trustees (BoT); National Working Committee (NWC); National Assembly Caucus and Forum of former Governors.
Bala said the meeting has been rescheduled to November 8, 2024.
According to the statement, the postponement was to allow the party prepare for the upcoming Ondo gubernatorial election.
The statement reads, “The postponement is to ensure that the party goes into the forthcoming Ondo gubernatorial elections of November 16, 2024 with the unity and strength demanded to unseat the floundering All Progressive Congress, APC government in the state.”
