Billionaire business mogul, Mr. Femi Otedola has donated a sum of N5 billion to his daughter’s foundation set up to save the children against acute malnutrition in the Northeastern part of Nigeria.

On his part, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who also donated N100 million, said that the country needs more Nigerians with a big heart to give back to the needy, saying the government should not be allowed to do it alone as the government already has a lot of challenges.
Earlier, Florence Otedola, Also known as DJ Cuppy, said that over the years, her passion in tackling issued surrounding young Nigerians grew as she got more involved with the work of charity partners to make a change.
She stressed that the work and impact of various intervention programmes by Save the Children in Nigeria could not be understated, especially after her visit to the Maiduguri Stabilisation Centre in Borno State.
The visit, according to her, was a life-changing moment, as it pointed to the fact that there is more to be done collectively to support the goals in making life of every Nigerian count.
