In his new year message to residents of Lagos State,the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly and, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has urged Lagosians to be prayerful and hopeful in the New Year.
In a new year message signed by by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Tolani Abati, Obasa hailed Lagosians for their resourcefulness, courage, resilience and prayers which, according to him, have seen them through the last two decades of democracy.
His words, “I know you are very hardworking, resourceful, resilient and prayerful, all of which have seen you through the harsh economic realities of the last two decades of our democracy,” he had begun.
Urging Lagosians not to relent in their hard work and resilience since these are the sure bet of living the life of their dreams, he added that the State Government, which the Lagos House of Assembly is an integral part of, is doing everything within its power to make them enjoy the best.
