Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has sentenced a certain Augustine Ighodalo to five years imprisonment for his part in a $1 million fraud.
He was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, on September 26, 2019, on a three-count charge.
“transfer of criminal proceeds to a nominee”, following intelligence received by the Commission from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, the EFCC said in a statement by its spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren.
