A 32-years old man from Kano State is presently in the custody of the Department of State Services for allegedly created a fake video depicting the marriage of President Buhari to the Ministers of Finance and that of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development.
The agency’s spokesperson, Dr Peter Afunaya in a press conference warned against the spread of fake news as the service remains committed to the peace and stability of Nigeria.
He said the man was arrested after a complaint was made by the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed.
