The Lagos State Commissioner for Housing Moruf Akinderu-Fatai has charged homeowners in Babatunde Olushola Benson Estate in Ibeshe, Ikorodu, and LagosHOMS, Sangotedo Phase 1 Estate, to ensure the estates are properly maintained.
Akinderu-Fatai spoke when he presented keys and other documents to them yesterday.
“Keep the homes and estate in good condition to achieve the goal of making Lagos a 21st Century economy,” he said.
Akinderu-Fatai stated that the estates have been provided with good roads, drainages, water, and sewage treatment plants to make life easier and convenient for residents.
He added: “These facilities compare well with others in civilized parts of the world, and will make the dream of decent living come alive for Lagosians as pledged by Governor Sanwo-Olu.
“It is their responsibility to cooperate with facility managers to keep the estates in good condition and enhance the value of residents’ investment.”
