Rangers star, Jermain Defoe was involved in a three car crash, however sustained no injuries in the process.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland ace – who played in current club Rangers’ 5-0 win over Aberdeen today – escaped unhurt from the crash in Glasgow.
After the smash, Defoe assured supporters “he’s fine but in shock” in a video posted on Instagram.
The ex-England star said: “Hi guys, just want to say thank you for all your lovely messages, I know you must have been so worried.
“But I’m fine, I’m all good. I’m just going to go home and rest up. I’m just in a little bit of shock but I’m all good.
“Thanks you for all your messages again.”
