The Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed, at a news conference in Lagos, highlighted the wins and losses of the Buhari Administration in 2021.
Mohammed said the administration’s biggest challenge in the outgoing year is in the area of security.
But, despite the enormity of the challenge, the military continued to live up to their billing.
He also acknowledged their service to the nation and appreciated them as he goes on to break the achievements of the army in the past year.
“We owe them a debt of gratitude for their patriotism and sacrifice. We just can’t appreciate them enough, as you will soon see when I break down their achievements in the year under review,” he said.
The minister listed various operations which were set up across the country by the Armed Forces of Nigeria including the Joint Task Force (JTF) in all six geopolitical zones.
He also attributed the effectiveness of the military was to the leadership provided by President Muhammadu Buhari and the unwavering commitment of the armed forces and its leadership.
