How we addressed insecurity in Nasarawa – Sule

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule has given insight into how his administration checkmated the activities of criminal elements in the state.

He noted that through collaboration with security agencies and the federal government, his administration successfully checkmated and chased out the deadly Daru-salam sects from Toto LGA of the state.

He stated this yesterday, during the celebration of the 61 independence of Nigeria and silver jubilee anniversary of the creation of Nasarawa state.

He explained that the security challenges bordering on farmers and herders crisis, kidnapping and other sundry crimes have been reduced to the barest.

His words, “Through sustained collaboration and synergy with the government of various states, we have been able to reduce border conflicts and skirmishes in our border communities.

“We facilitated the establishment of military super camps at Kenyehu and Udege in Toto and Nasarawa LGAs.”

The governor who use the occasion to enumerate his achievements in health, education, agriculture, infrastructures among other sectors pay growing tribute to past governors of the state for contributing immensely to the development of the state.
