The Armed Forces has risen in stout defense of the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, warned that flying a foreign country’s flag in Nigeria is treasonable, adding it would not be condoned.

He described the display of foreign flag as a “red line” that cannot be tolerated, he vowed to bring to book the subversive elements behind the treasonable act.
Yesterday, many of the Russian flag-bearing protesters and tailors who sewed the flags were arrested by security operatives.
However, Russian Embassy in Abuja disowned the protesters, saying that its country was not behind their activities.
