Represented by Emmanuel Agodi, Adejo said the government’s support services to the association through its Nigerian National Volunteer Service Department (NNVS) would go a long way to enhancing good health and productivity.
His words, “We have been encouraging volunteer groups and associations to offer their efforts and services to complement the government’s developmental efforts.
“It is understood that ASA-World has been undertaking this program annually as part of its contribution to the development of Anambra State and the Department usually renders support to ensure the program is conducted successfully.”
Adejo also charged voluntary organizations to synergize for health service delivery to the people in rural communities while lamenting global health challenges, especially the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic.
