DSS denied my family access to Nnamdi Kanu – Younger brother Emmmanuel

Prince Emmanuel Kanu, brother to the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has accused the Federal Government of abducting his brother from Kenya.

He told The Nation that the family remains in the dark over the procedures which the Federal Government embarked on to repatriate Kanu from Kenya.

He likened the incident to the 1984 attempted kidnap of Umaru Dikko by the General Muhammadu Buhari led military junta.

His words, “Because when the news was broken to us, we had to ask a couple of questions which, up till now, nobody has provided answers to. Even the federal government has not.

He added, “It is a pure case of kidnapping and a repeat of what happened in 1984 when the same president attempted abducting Umaru Dikko. The question that we are asking is what has he (Nnamdi) done? Who arrested him, because the Keyan government has apparently denied arresting him.”

Kanu disclosed that the family has been denied access to his brother by officials of the Department of State Services who have him in custody.

He expressed fears that the judicial system may be partial in the trial of his brother.
