Following the reemergence of this particular image of President Buhari which sparked online criticism, House of Representatives member, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has come out to defend the President.
Nigerians including former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, have blasted the presidency for sharing such a photo.
Abdulmumin in his tweet, says Presidents are humans as well and should be allowed to show their human side.
His defence comes after the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad said in a Twitter post that he innocently shared the image of the President on his snapchat page.
He claimed the image was taken on February 27th earlier this year.
