Britons fear obesity as more people out on weight in lockdown

The lockdown measure in place to contain the spread of the Coronavirus has resulted in two-third of the British population adding weight more than they desire.

A study emerging has confirmed the lockdown is turning into a heavyweight issue in Britain as two thirds of people admit to piling on the pounds, Times of UK reports.

It was gathered that one person in 20 admitted to putting on so much weight that they were “scared” to weigh themselves.

This new case may worry epidemiologists amid evidence that obesity is a risk factor for coronavirus.
