A British Video Blogger in an emotional farewell video has bid her followers goodbye revealing that doctors informed that her she has just few weeks to live.
Samantha Last, 49, a popular beauty blogger from Norfolk, England, woke at 2 a.m. with a migraine last Tuesday and hours later was diagnosed with a rare type of aggressive brain cancer.
Days later, she learned from doctors at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge it was terminal and there was no treatment available to prolong her life.
Last has filmed a sad “final farewell video” for the 15,000 followers of her beauty vlog, which focuses on makeup for older women.
With tears running down her face, she bravely says: “It’s been amazing, I’ve loved every second.”
The eight-minute video has been watched more than 75,000 times so far.
She continued: “It’s not going to get better. That’s what I am coping with at the moment. I can’t hide it anymore.”
Last, married to David for 30 years and mom to Danny, 29, Jasmine, 27, Ebony, 23, and Brandon, 21, said the video — released on Saturday — would be her last.
Up until now, her channel, which she launched in 2014 after being made redundant from a call center job, has focused on beauty.
