At 93, Old monarch of England, Queen Elizabeth seems to be agile and has successfully cheated aging traits and disabilities, as she graced an engagement today at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB), Cambridge.
The English Queen, vehemently rejected the aid of a help, as she stepped up to plant a tree at NIAB, in celebration of the centenary of the institution which conducts research into crops.
With a lot of questions and concerns as regards being able to perform the task on her own, she replied, “No, no, I’m still perfectly capable of planting a tree,” before picking up the shovel and moving soil into the plant’s roots in an already dug hole.
The aged English monarch exuded youthfulness and brought a splash of colour to proceedings with her eye-catching tweed jacket and matching hat, as she toured the exhibition celebrating 100 years of crop research at the institution before planting the tree and unveiling a plaque.
