Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu received the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ms Catriona Laing to his office today, and used the occasion to share his vision for a greater Lagos and to also express the readiness of the state to partner with the High Commission in many areas of development.
Ms Laing, who came to the governor’s office with top diplomats from the Commission, expressed delight with the focus of the new government, and said that she will continue to dialogue with the State with a view to helping the government achieve its development aspirations.
The meeting was attended by the deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ms. Laure Beaufils, the Chief of State to the governor Mr. Tayo Ayinde and the Secretary to the State government, Mrs.Folashade Jaji amongst other top officials from the State and the High Commission
