Yahaya Bello, Former Kogi Governor on Thursday told the Federal High Court in Abuja to transfer his case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to Kogi.
Recall that EFCC arraigned the former Governor on alleged N82 billion fraud before Justice Nwite presided over the case.
Bello told the court on Thursday that since he was alleged to have committed the offence when he was the Governor of Kogi, it was proper for the case to be held in the State.
He made this request through his lawyer, Adeola Adedipe.
