Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro has spelt out a stark warning for his team that they must play with 100% performance to beat South Africa when both sides meet today in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals clash at Stade Bouake.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Stade de la Paix de Bouake yesterday, Peseiro, first acknowledged the good job his team has done in the tournament.
He then stressed the need for them to do more to secure victory against the Bafana Bafana.
“Our team is doing a good job up until now to reach the semi-final. We have shown good spirit, we have shown good organization. We’ve shown up till now, good commitment and good fight. We have played like a team together. We have played against good national teams and we want to beat South Africa to reach the final, that’s our goal,” Peseiro said.
He continued: “We know the capacity and the power of our opponent. Our opponent has done a fantastic tournament. They are a team with good quality and good capacity. My players and I know what we must do, but we must play 100% to beat a very good team.”
