The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has explained more on their ‘Action Plan’ to reposition the economy.
Presidential standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, told participants at the Town Hall meeting in Lafia, the state capital, that his campaigns will be issue-based.
The event was a one-day symposium, titled: ‘Dissecting the Asiwaju Manifesto Renewed Hope 2023’.
It was organized by APC Professional Forum (APC PF) at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre.
Accomplished bankers and former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Otunba Olufemi Pedro disclosed that Tinubu would create one million jobs in his first 24 months in office as president.
He said: “Asiwaju Tinubu will take Nigeria on the digital pathway. He will exploit the growing digital economy through interventions in the ICT sector and the deployment of new technologies to fast-track business growth and diversification.
“The plan is to create one million jobs in the first 24 months of the new administration. He also plans to deliver broadband service to 90 percent of the population by 2025.”
