APC Campaign Council will take care of others’ interests – Faleke

The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, James Faleke, says the list of the party officials for the 2023 elections is incomplete.

He guaranteed all stakeholders that going forward, the council would accommodate the interests of governors and other people.

Faleke spoke in reaction to reports that governors elected on the platform of the ruling party were displeased by the exclusion of their nominees from the campaign council.

In a statement yesterday, Faleke said the council did not disregard the names suggested by the governors.

“The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress hereby clarifies that the list of members of the campaign council released at the weekend is a partial list.

“It contains only the directors, deputy directors, secretaries of directorates, and key stakeholders.

“The council also assures our esteemed governors that the secretariat of the council has not jettisoned the names submitted by them.

“Some of the nominees of our governors have emerged as part of the leadership, while others will soon emerge as members of the various directorates,” the statement said.
