FG probes organ donor’s data privacy breach

The Federal Government is investigating the breach of the data privacy of David Nwamina through the Nigeria Data Protection Bureau.

Nwamina is a young Nigerian at the center of an allegation of organ harvest against a former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

The development came after the pictures of Nwamina’s passport appeared online.

David was reportedly trafficked to the United Kingdom for organ harvest by Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.

The NDPB also said it was investigating the breach of the data privacy of Sonia Ekweremadu, the daughter of the Ekweremadus.

The National Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, NDPB, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, ordered an investigation into the breach, according to a statement issued by the bureau on Monday.
