President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday received the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye at the State House in Abuja.
It was learnt that the meeting held behind closed doors, therefore the agenda of the meeting cannot be ascertained as at press time.
Adeboye’s visit comes on the heels of an outcry by religious organisations and their leaders, especially of the Christian faith, against some clauses in the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) and Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, were at the President’s parley with Adeboye, which lasted for about an hour.
This is not Pastor Adeboye’s first visit to President Buhari, he was one of the very few persons who had access to President Buhari in London in 2017, while the President was on medical vacation.
