Highly revered thought leader and global philanthropist; Mr Habeeb Okunola was on Thursday October 31st 2019 honoured with an award for ‘Humanity & Enterprise’ at the Africa Advancement Forum Summit held in London, United Kingdom.
Mr Okunola who was unable to unable the award in person due to his numerous commitments across the globe was represented by his sister Ms Peju Onile-Ere. The summit featured a conference and award ceremony which celebrated the most impressive, impactful, changemakers around the world. Mr Habeeb Okunola was honoured in recognition of his commitment and unparalleled passion for fostering socioeconomic development at the grassroots, through the vehicle of his non-profit organisation – HABEEB OKUNOLA FOUNDATION an organisation committed to spearheading sustainable development in underserved rural areas and displaced communities.
Mr Okunola has distinguished himself as one of the leading entrepreneurs and philanthropist under 40, in Africa; through his numerous accomplishments. His success story in multifarious spheres of life has endeared all and sundry to him, especially the teeming African youth who are in dire need of inspiration and worthy role models.
Mr Habeeb is a graduate of Philosophy from the University of Lagos and has since attended several executive, leadership and management programs at Havard Business School and numerous institutions home and abroad. He is the Managing Director of TILT Group of companies limited ; a multinational conglomerate with stakes in in real estate, construction, oil and gas, energy, engineering, agriculture, media and technology
He prides himself as a firm advocate of sustainable development at the grassroots.
