In reaction to the image of one of its staff which trended online last Friday, The Nigeria Police Force disclosed that the said operative of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad whose photograph is already facing internal disciplinary procedure.
The NPF identified the inappropriately dressed officer as Inspector Michael Olubode.
Olubode’s manner of dressing while he appeared to be on duty caught attention when it was tweeted on Friday.
The emergence of the photograph of the unethical dressing of the operative online sparked outcry most especially among Lagos residents.
Some of those who responded to the tweet about Insp. Olubode’s unethical attire alleged that they had had unsavoury encounters with him at some point, and that he and his team operated between Iyana-Ipaja and Egbeda to Ikotun axis of Lagos State.
