Airline cancelled our trip because of our religion – 2 Dallas Muslims reveal

Two men have filed a complaint of discrimination with the U.S. Department of Transportation against American Airlines.

Abderraoof Alkhawaldeh and Issam Abdallah claim they were discriminated against after waving to each other on a flight from Birmingham, Alabama, to Dallas, Texas, on September 14.

Abdallah who described the incident as the most humiliating day of his life, shared that agents informed the pair that the airline crew called police and claimed that they were not comfortable with them on board.

He added that the airline crew had an issue with him using the bathroom and flushing the toilet twice.

‘This is absurb, unacceptable and un-American,’ said Alkhawaldeh, who shared that he had been an Executive Platinum member with the airline.

American spokeswoman LaKesha Brown said that the flight was canceled because of ‘concerns raised by a crew member and a passenger’
