In celebration of the historic inauguration of the First Black President of the United States of America, Barack Obama. IROKO Bar, in collaboration with Facilitators for a Better Jamaica (FFBJ) and Operation Black Vote (OBV), organised a well attended event which attracted people from all races; particularly people from Afro-Caribbean descent
The celebration was electric and is most likely to be an unforgettable experience. Since its auspicious opening in August 2008, IROKO Bar has been providing more than just sumptuous African delicacies and exotic drinks. It has become really prominent within a short space of time, standing out as an intellectual watering hole for the intellectually-inclined and has been serving to inspire harmonious co-existence amongst members of the multicultural city of London.
